Registered Behavior Technician (Rbt) / Aba Therapist

We are seeking ABA Therapists/Registered Behavior Technicians for our centers in Omaha, NE! You will work as valued members of our team to provide individualized services in a 1:1 and group teaching format to children with autism. Stride provides training that covers everything necessary to start a career in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Stride also provides ongoing professional development to advance your career in the field of ABA. Therapists will work closely with our Lead BCBA to drive great outcomes for our young learners. You will have the opportunity to grow into more senior clinical roles as you gain experience.
Stride's center-based ABA program for preschool learners (ages 2-6) utilizes both structured and natural teaching strategies. Our full-day programs allow for predictable and manageable scheduling that results in superior client outcomes and enhanced quality of life for therapists. Our clinical team provides training and supervision that prepares you, the therapist, to positively impact the lives of the children we serve and their families.
\n ResponsibilitiesWork 1:1 with children with autism under the direct supervision of a BCBAFollow treatment plans developed by BCBAs that help increase the child's communication, self-help, social and play skillsRelay info on client progress to BCBAs to keep them informedAssist BCBAs with assessmentsAccurately record client progress using Stride's data collection systemWrite and submit clinical notes summarizing client sessionsToilet training and diaper changing as requiredVoices issues/concerns to leadership as appropriateBuild positive relationships with families while maintaining professional boundariesAbides by Stride's policies and proceduresCoordinate as needed with parents, teachers and other professionals on the child's teamSupport team members and assist in non-clinical activities as neededPositively contribute to the Stride cultureMaintain client confidentiality, ethics and professionalism at all timesCaring, compassionate and empathetic demeanorExudes a positive and constructive energy/attitudePossess a strong work ethicCommunicates effectively with clients, parents, BCBAs and othersPassion to learn and grow individually and looks for improvement opportunities for Stride QualificationsHigh School Diploma (or equivalent) or an active RBT Certification (Stride will assist you in obtaining this certification if hired)Must be at least 18 years oldAvailable Mon-Fri 8am-4pmReliable transportation to our centerMust be able to pass a clinical background checkAbility to move freely, quickly and frequently from sitting to standing and to lift up to 25 lbsWorking knowledge of computer usageSuccessfully complete Stride's onboarding and training BenefitsCompetitive compensation100% reimbursement for your Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) course, application and exam for RBT certificationMentorship from our lead clinical staffFieldwork supervision provided for future BCBAs -Over 20% of RBTs at Stride receive supervision to become BCBAsHealth, Dental and Vision InsuranceShort Term Disability insuranceGenerous PTO + Paid Holidays401(k) program with generous employer matchingPredictable 8am-4pm Monday-Friday schedule at a clinicUp to $10,000 of tuition toward a degree in behavior analysis
