Registered Dietitian - Hybrid - Ltc - Long Term Care - Top Payer

NutriTech will provide the training and support you'll need to be a successful consultant.Position is for a dietitian to provide services at a reputable skilled nursing facility in the Shelton area.Long term care experience is preferred but we are willing to provide training!Pay is very competitive!*Responsibilities*Provide ongoing nutrition support to staff and residentsComplete high-risk comprehensive nutrition assessments after reviewing documents and speaking with resident, family and the healthcare team. Quarterly and non-high risk admits completed by the DTR.Implement dietary care plansSurvey assistanceProvide nutrition consultation to residents, staff and families on nutrition principles, diet modifications and any risks/concernsInspect kitchen and dietary service areas to ensure compliance with food code regulationsEnsure prescribed diets are followed and meet daily nutrition need requirements. This includes therapeutic and texture modifications.*Skills and Qualifications*Dietitian must have excellent communication skills and be able to work independently or with members of the healthcare teamMust have ability to effectively communicate with residents and/ or their familiesMust be Registered with CDRLong Term Care Experience preferred with a comprehensive knowledge of Section K on MDS, Completing resident/ patient assessments and Care PlansKnowledge of State and Federal GuidelinesJob Type: Full-timePay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hourExpected hours: 32 – 40 per weekBenefits:* Flexible scheduleSchedule:* Monday to FridayExperience:* Point-Click Care: 1 year (Preferred)License/Certification:* Registered Dietitian Credentials with CDR?
