The Johns Hopkins Hospital Surgical Progressive Care Unit is a 32-bed unit caring for adult surgical patients.
The unit offers three levels of care: Floor, Telemetry, and Intermediate Medical Care (IMC).

About Johns Hopkins Medicine:
As a senior clinical nurse, serve as unit technical resource in absence of a Level 4 career professional.
Assists in developing staff schedules.
Observes patients and ensures maximum nursing care is being provided; determines the need for additional or modified services.
Ensures established unit priorities are implemented and makes some decisions regarding patient care.
Participates in patient care conferences, quality assurance committees and in-service presentations.

Qualifications:
Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing from an accredited School of Nursing required.
JHH provides Tuition Reimbursement towards earning your MSN.
Active Maryland Board of Nursing (MBON) or Compact State Registered Nursing license is required.
CPR/BLS certification required.
At least two years of clinical Registered Nursing experience required.

Nurses hired with an Associate's degree in nursing must enroll in an accredited BSN/MSN program within 1 year of hire and complete the degree within 5 years of your start date.

Salary Range: Minimum 39.94 per hour - Maximum 61.91 per hour.
Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
