Registered Nurse - Ambulatory General Surgery

Unit description: In accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulations, the Registered Nurse is directly responsible for attending to patient's nursing needs in the office setting and over the phone. The Registered Nurse is responsible for the care and treatment of patients according to the standards of nursing practice and established Porter Medical Group policies and procedures. They will demonstrate a pleasant disposition to patients, families, and coworkers. Patient confidentiality will be maintained at all times. JOB REQUIREMENTS Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the State of Vermont is required.  One year of RN experience required. Two years of relevant RN experience in chosen clinical area preferred. The ideal candidate is Wound Care Certified, however, if they are not certified upon date of hire; it is a requirement that this RN become Wound Care Certified within one year of employment. On-call: Not required. Incentives: External candidates with 1 year of experience may be eligible for a one-time sign-on bonus of up to $10,000. Additional terms and conditions apply.
