### Job Title:Registered Nurse### Job Specialty:CVICU (Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit)### Job Duration:13 weeks### Shift:Day and Night, rotating every 3-4 weeks (07:00 - 19:00 and 19:00 - 07:00)### Guaranteed Hours:36 hours per week### Experience:Minimum 2 years of recent standalone CVPICU experience required### License:Pending license accepted, must show proof of application and pending status### Certifications:BLS, PALS### Must-Have:- Ability to rotate shifts every 3-4 weeks- First-timers accepted- Pediatric CVICU experience preferred### Job Description:- Verify your candidate is cardiac trained.- Must have standalone CVPICU experience; floating experience does not count.- Every other weekend and holiday work required.- Self-scheduling with no guarantee of block scheduling, but facility will try to accommodate operations.- Floating required within critical care units as needed (NICU/PICU).- Modules must be completed before orientation, averaging 20+ hours (not billable).- Must maintain compliance with facility requirements and have no smoking during shifts.- Orientation dates available throughout the remainder of the year.- Return policy requires previous employees to be away for a minimum of 1 year before returning as a traveler.- A current high-resolution, color photo is required upon contract acceptance, following specific guidelines.This dynamic and challenging role supports a specialist area within a renowned teaching and trauma center with dedicated pediatric care.
