In collaboration with the patient, the patient's family and other members of the health care team, the clinical RN assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and coordinates treatment plansWhat you will do in this role: ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:1. Demonstrates knowledge and application of the nursing process.2. Monitors and recognizes changes in the patient's behavioral and physiological status; takes appropriate action based on assessment.3. Utilizes professional skills and judgment in delivering and/or delegating care for a group of patients.4. Job Specific Competencies5. Other duties as assigned.What qualifications you will need:EDUCATION REQUIRED AND/OR PREFERRED: (list required and preferred separately)1. Nursing Associate Degree, Diploma Degree, or Bachelor's Degree RequiredREQUIRED LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:1. RN licensed in State of Texas or Compact State2. BCLS certificationEXPERIENCE PREFERRED:1. Certification in Nephrology2. Preferred experience as an RN in Med-SurgSKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES:1. Reads and writes Basic English with the basic skills necessary to understand and transfer physician's orders.2. Ability to move in excess of 100 pounds, with assistance from other staff3. Effective communication skills; both orally and written.4. Computer skills needed.5. Ability to manage a team and work with others within a team to ensure quality patient care.6.
