Registered Nurse, Emergency Department - 36Hrs Evenings

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for:Working in a fast-paced, Level 1 Trauma Center with patients with trauma-related, surgical and medical illnesses of varying levels of acuity and complexity.36 hours rotating evenings and every other weekend.To qualify, you must have:A Bachelor of Science in Nursing.A minimum of 1 years of inpatient acute RN experience. ED experience (pedi preferred) or any acute pediatric experience, strongly preferred.The ability to work in collaboration with emergency medicine physicians, nurses, mid-level providers and administrative staff is essential.The analytical skills to resolve highly complex problems requiring the application of clinical, scientific or technical principles, theories and concepts and in-depth, cross-functional experience-based knowledge.Excellent communication skills.A current license from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts to practice as a Registered Nurse.Boston Children's Hospital offers competitive compensation and unmatched benefits including flexible schedules, affordable health, vision and dental insurance, child care and student loan subsidies, generous levels of time off, 403(b) Retirement Savings plan, Pension, Tuition and certain License and Certification Reimbursement, cell phone plan discounts and discounted rates on T-passes.
