National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) – Required Within 60 Days of Hire and AnnuallyAnnual EducationAs a Registered Nurse caring for acute stroke and trauma patients, you will be required to: Complete assigned stroke and trauma education upon hire and maintain annual stroke and trauma education per your unit directionPreferred:CEN (certified emergency nurse)Las Palmas Medical Center is a 300+ bed full-service hospital in El Paso.
