About the Opportunity
As a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department at Avel eCare, you will play a critical role in delivering patient care through advanced medical services. Working in a collaborative team environment, you will provide expert nursing care, apply evidence-based practices, and ensure patient outcomes meet high standards of quality and safety. You will rotate between days, nights, and mid-shifts and be instrumental in utilizing telehealth to provide life-saving care.
Adhering to the American Nurses Association (ANA) standards of practice, you will demonstrate excellence in patient care, communication, and leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Comprehensive Patient Care:
Utilize the nursing process
(assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation) to
provide personalized care and ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Leadership & Collaboration:
Lead within the professional
practice setting and collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare
providers to ensure the highest quality of care.
Continuous Improvement:
Engage in performance
evaluations, professional development, and efforts to improve nursing
practice.
Technology Integration:
Incorporate healthcare
technology and telemedicine systems into your nursing practice to enhance
patient outcomes.
Ethical Practice:
Make decisions in alignment with
the ANA's code of ethics, prioritizing patient safety and well-being.
Research & Evidence-Based
Care:
Implement research findings and evidence-based practices in nursing
care where applicable.

Qualifications
Education:
Graduate from a CCNE or NLN
accredited nursing program (strongly preferred).
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
(preferred).
Experience:
Emergency Room (ER) experience
(strongly preferred).
Hospital experience required.
Licensure:
Registered Nurse license in at
least one state (required).
RN licensure in states where Avel
eCare operates, within 120 days of hire.
Certification in a specialty
(preferred).
Additional Requirements:
Membership in a professional
nursing organization (preferred).
Completion of state-specific
certifications as required.
