Job Description: FLIGHT NURSE INCENTIVES Starting Range $99,000-$102,000 annually$10,000 Sign-on Bonus payable in two installments following the end of trainingSchedule is a 5 days on/10 days off rotationCompany paid crew housing while on shift We're hiring Flight Nurses to provide direct patient care in accordance with GMR protocols and/or medical direction.
They also assist with coverage of open shifts as needed with the assigned area.JOB DUTIESFlight Nurses will assess each situation to determine the best course of action to support, monitor and treat patients in critical care situationsUtilize critical thinking skills to manage the critically ill or injured adult or pediatric patient and support physicians' ordersTake pride in providing a safe, clean, and well-stocked aircraft environment, maintains regular equipment and base checks, and complies with safety standards and briefingsWork collaboratively and effectively communicates in a professional manner with air and ground teams, dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partnersShare shift change info to transitioning team and follow protocols to maintain accurate company and regulatory documentation and recordsNurses are accountable to maintain required certifications and ongoing training required for the position QUALIFICATIONSExperience:Minimum of three (3) years' experience in an emergency or critical care setting requiredFlight experience preferredEducation:Current RN licensure in the states served by the assigned area requiredEMT Certification in state(s) where requiredAHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP required prior to flight status.
Will be required to obtain trauma certification within 6 months of hireAdvanced Certification (CEN, CCRN, CFRN) preferred, required within 12 months from date of hireInstructor certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, ITLS/PHTLS preferredPhysical Demands:The ideal candidate will live within 8 hours of Gallup, NMMust be willing to shave facial hair (if needed) to fit a N95 maskMust possess the gross and fine motor skills necessary to sufficiently provide the full range of safe and effective patient care activitiesLift and/or move up to 150 pounds cumulative with assistanceSpecific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distant vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focusMust be able to work a flexible work schedule Why Choose Guardian Flight?
