*McLaren Macomb is looking for Registered Nurses to work Full-Time or Part-Time 7PM - 730AM with weekend and holiday rotation.*
*The Float Pool has a self-scheduling model where RN's get to pick their work schedule working either 2 12 hour shifts or 3 12 hour shifts per week covering a variety of units within the Macomb hospital. *
*Responsibilities:*
Assesses the physical, psychosocial, and educational needs of the patient.
Plans and implements nursing care according to patient and family needs.
Makes appropriate interventions based upon individual patient needs.
Evaluates patient responses to nursing interventions.
Assumes personal responsibility for quality patient care, patient satisfaction, environment, and professional development.
*Required:*
Graduate of a Nursing program.Current State of Michigan Registered Nurse licenseBLS certification from American Heart Association (AHA), American Red Cross (ARC), or Canadian equivalent, is required before start date and valid at least 60 days beyond start date.ACLS required by end of unit orientation for CCL, PACU, ENDO, IR, ICU, ED, CDU, CSS, CSU, Ambulatory Surgery, and the Step-Down UnitNRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required by end of unit orientation for PEDS*Preferred*:
Bachelor of Science in NursingWound Care Certification (WCC/ WOCN /CWCA) if working in Wound Care Center- preferred Wound Care Certification MUST BE OBTAINED WITHIN 12 MOS OF HIRE DATE.One-year related specialty care experience preferred for Cardiac Cath Lab, OR/PASS (Post Anesthesia Care Unit), IR (Interventional Radiology), ICU, Endo or Ambulatory Surgery.Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
