Job title Registered Nurse Reports to Program Director Position Summary RHD is seeking a Full Time Registered Nurse. The Registered Nurse will work closely with the Directors and Supervisors of the group homes to assist with overseeing all aspects of medical care for those individuals for whom RHD provides services.
Essential Duties and Functions Insuring medical care is followed through as stated by Doctors and Psychiatrists for all individuals. Overseeing medication regimes. Kardex review. Quarterly and Annual report writing. Assessments. Attending IP meeting. Provide training as needed, including State of CT Med. Administration (oversight of CUPs). Qualifications Current license as Registered Nurse. 3-5 years' experience working with individuals with intellectual developmental disabilities, co-occurring diagnosis of behavioral health and addiction disorders, homelessness, community support services, group residential facilities or similar patient populations. DDS experience preferred but not required. All trainings required by licensure. Working Conditions This position requires the ability and willingness to travel and flexibility in scheduling to meet the needs of the programs.
Occasional weekend or evening hours may be necessary. Requirements Lifting Requirements Medium: exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds constantly to move objects.
