Registered Nurse - Icu

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our critical care team.
In this role, you will provide exceptional care for patients with life-threatening conditions or complex comorbidities that require advanced organ support and invasive monitoring.

Key Responsibilities: Patient Care: Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals with severe and life-threatening conditions, such as overdose, post-surgery recovery, trauma, and chronic illnesses.
Critical Thinking: Operate in a challenging environment, requiring strong knowledge, quick judgment, and problem-solving skills to manage patients with the highest acuity.
Monitoring & Support: Utilize sophisticated monitoring equipment and techniques to assess patients' conditions and provide the necessary interventions for optimal outcomes.
Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure the best care for patients in the ICU.
Qualifications: Education:

Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program (ASN or BSN) required.


Licenses/Certifications: Current BLS (AHA) and ACLS certifications required.
Minimum of 1 year of ICU experience is mandatory.
MA or crisis license: Candidates with prior hits on their license are not eligible for the emergency license in Massachusetts.
Skills:

Proficient in computer charting systems, with experience using EPIC preferred.


Certification: Basic Life Support
