Guidewire is a Non-Profit Human Service Agency that provides residential, and day supports to individuals diagnosed with intellectual disabilities and various disorders. We are seeking a highly motivated Registered Nurse (RN) who can work independently to join our nursing team. This is a thirty five (35) or forty (40) hour position with the ability to flex your hours Monday through Friday to accommodate your schedule. No weekends or Holidays. Core Job Responsibilities (Not all inclusive) Oversee the Medication Administration Program (MAP) and Coordinate health care for individuals served for which direct nursing intervention is needed in our residential programs. Consulting with Program Directors and Program Managers to ensure that each individual will have a community-based health provider that will provide routine medical care and follow-up as necessary for acute or chronic problems. Conduct Medication Administration Program (MAP) classes and MAP recertification classes monthly and as needed Provide staff education and training as related to MAP and health care issues. Develop and manage quality assurance programs in licensed, certified DDS/DMH community residential and day programs that are registered with the Department of Public Health. Must have a minimum of two years in acute medical / surgical nursing. Strong Computer skills. Good communication and teaching skills. A valid driver's license.
