Status/FTE: PT / 0.4-0.6 FTE Shift length: 12 hours Start Time: 0700 Unit: Adult Float Pool (ICU/PCU, Med/Surg, Extended stay, ED, Rehab) Schedule Requirements (including weekends, holidays): 2 12-hour shifts per week, every third weekend, holidays by rotation (one winter, one summer) Unit specific additional qualifications: The RN utilizes the nursing process in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care of patients from admission to department through discharge or transfer. Provides expert care and education to patients in clinical setting, acts as a patient advocate, leader, and mentor for assistive personnel. The RN is knowledgeable in clinical nursing procedures, disease processes, interventions, and pharmacological agents. Manages patient loads in assigned timelines.
