Registered Nurse, Medical/Surgical

*Job Title: *RN Med Surg


*Location: *Fort Defiance, AZ


*Shift: *12 hour shifts.
Typical schedule is 36 hours one week, 48 hours the next, plus up to 1 on-call shift/week.
Must be flexible and open to days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needs may change.
Maximun of two (2) Shift Call offs.

Pay Package: $2592/Week (36 Hours)


Pay Package: $3360/ Week (48 Hours)


* *Job Description*: Registered Nurse for Med-Surg Unit (MSU) for adult geriatrics and pediatric patients.


* EXCELLENT Staffing Ratios: **Non Covid: typically 4:1, max 5:1.
Covid patients: typically 2:1, max 3:1.


* *Required Certifications:* American Heart Association BLS and ACLS.
_PALS is preferred_


* *Experience: *MUST BE COMFORTABLE WITH BOTH ADULT AND PEDIATRIC PATIENTS.


* *Setting:* 20 bed medical surgical unit for adults and pediatrics


* *Shift:* 12 hour shifts Days or Nights, must be flexible.
In addition to inpatient, may be assigned to help cover Flu Immunization clinics as needed.
Travelers are expected to attend staff meetings.


* *Housing: *Information can be found under the 'Facility Group Document' section.


* _Other: Travelers are occasionally expected to float to other departments in which they are qualified to work.
This could include taking a patient load if experienced and competent in that setting or could be task-oriented such as answering call lights, phones, etc_
