Clinic Nurse (LPN) About The Job : Clinic Nurse is a professional nursing position that provides quality patient care and is a patient advocate.
What We Are Looking For : Education [formal]:
Graduate of a school of nursing is required.
A current Iowa License as a Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse is required. A current Minnesota License as a Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse may be required based on Department needs. Minnesota license must be current before working in a Minnesota location.
Experience:
Six months previous ambulatory care experience is preferred.
Additional experience involving computerized data equipment is preferred.
Special Skills and Competencies:
Communication skills with the ability to maintain and display professionalism with customers and coworkers.
Organizational skills and attention to detail.
Flexibility and adaptability.
Functions as a patient advocate.
Typing speed of 35 words per minute (verified by testing) preferred.
Must provide proof of Basic Life Support (BLS Healthcare Provider, American Heart Association; or American Red Cross, Professional Rescuer-LIVE class only) via current card prior to employment or within 60 days of hire and maintains current status.
Completes Mandatory Reporting: Child and Dependent Adult Abuse requirement within 6 months of hire and renews this requirement every 5 years.
Clinic Registered Nurse (RN) About The Job : This position accepts the responsibility and accountability for the delivery of patient care with the multidisciplinary team while using the nursing process and maintaining professional nursing standards.
The Clinic Registered Nurse is responsible for managing nursing care essential to the assessment, promotion, maintenance, and restoration of patient's health and wellness within their scope of practice. The Clinic Registered Nurse will direct and support nursing/clinical personnel providing patient care within the facility as assigned by the Clinic Manager. This includes the evaluation, revision, and implementation of clinical policies and procedures related to the delivery of safe and efficient quality nursing care, maintenance of clinical staff personnel and education records, in-services and performs Clinical Staff functions.
What We Are Looking For : Education:

Ability to plan, prioritize, organize and direct the work of others.
