Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Pediatrics - Ambulatory RN Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM) Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 2 years of pediatric nursing experience License: Valid State License required; pending license accepted with proof and application date.
Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: COVID-19 vaccine with current booster; no license or background check discrepancies Job Description: - Provide patient care in an ambulatory setting with a focus on pediatrics.- Work every other weekend and holiday as required for most units.- Submit time-off requests at the time of application; requests submitted after the offer will not be approved.- Must be willing to work one guaranteed holiday, with a possibility for a second depending on facility needs.- Complete pre-start modules that require a minimum of 20 hours, prior to orientation.- Ensure compliance is completed by the Monday before the start date.- Must adhere to a non-smoking policy; no smoking areas available.- Return staff policy requires a minimum of one-year gap for those with previous employment to return as a traveler.- If offered and accepted, a professional photo is required for documentation.- Orientation dates available throughout the remainder of the year.This position offers an opportunity to leverage your pediatric nursing skills in a dynamic ambulatory care environment.
