Department Profile: The trauma and critical care surgeons at this clinic provide care to people who experience complex abdominal problems, including medical emergencies such as appendicitis, bowel obstructions, or gallbladder flare ups. Promotions can occur at 12 months of hire, but no later than 18 months of hire. .Education, Degrees, Licensure, and/or Certification Graduation from an accredited Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (or higher), Associate's Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma program is required.All registered nurses without a Bachelor's degree in Nursing (or higher) will be required to enroll in an appropriate BSN program within two years of their start date and to complete the program within five years of their start dateNurses hired at Duke Health with a valid compact license are required to obtain their North Carolina nursing license within 90 days of their start date.BLS required.
