BLS and ACLS required prior to hire. Position Duties: Performs a variety of tasks to include, but not limited, to demonstration of all Cath Lab procedures. Expected to learn Stress Lab procedures, PICC/Midline Insertion and EKG duties. Strong surgical conscience. Aware of sterile processing. Maintains skills necessary for IV Catheter insertion, and demonstrates proper skills preparing and administering medications in accordance with state and federal regulations. Follows AORN standards. Assists in preparing and moving patients and in cleaning the operating theater. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
