Avera is currently seeking Registered Nurses (RN) looking to deliver the best possible nursing care in Avera's patient-focused settings. Career Growth Opportunities! Job Summary Provides for the delivery of professional nursing care under the direction of medical providers as related to research study protocols. This position will provide care to patients of all ages involved in clinical trial research studies. This position is an opportunity to learn daily and contribute to research of the future. This position requires close collaboration with the research team to ensure safe and compliant adherence to the research protocol. Enthusiasm for learning is required as is participation in informing participants, physicians, nurses, and other personnel of the research process. Education and/or Experience Graduate from a CCNE or NLN accredited nursing program is strongly preferred. Graduate from an approved nursing program is acceptable. Two years nursing experience preferred. One or more years of experience interacting with children in a professional setting preferred. Two or more years of research and/or child development/assessment experience preferred. Licensure/Certification/Registration Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of South Dakota and/or meeting the requirements of Multi-state licensure required. Work Schedule Monday-Friday, Days; 80hrs/2wks
