Collaborates with other team members in the assessment, management, treatment and transfer of patients as applicable, promoting effective team interaction and communication. Identifies evolving high risk patient populations and directs care per established protocols to ensure timeliness of core measures interventions for inpatient STEMI, Stroke and/or Sepsis. Screens patients identified as high risk utilizing scoring methodologies and intervenes per established protocols. Completes follow up assessment of patients post RRT event who remain on non-critical care units. Documents RRT events, reports and follows up on identified issues. Provides feedback to staff in areas where the RRT event occurred. Enters RRT data into database; participates in data analysis and quality improvement initiatives. Stays up to date with RRT policy/ procedure; attends required RRT updates/education.Supervisory/Management ResponsibilityThis is a non-management job that will report to a supervisor, manager, director, or executive.Minimum RequirementsAssociates degree in Nursing required. BSN preferred.3 years of Intensive Care Unit Nursing experience required.Charge nurse/code responder experience preferred.
