This role is a 1099 contract opportunity, with care being provided at the patient's residence in accordance with a physician established care plan.
Offers are contingent upon passing a background check.
\n ResponsibilitiesExecute physician prescribed plans of care.Complete compliant documentation of the care provided in the system of record.Manage and administer prescribed medication, treatment, and therapies.Perform various activities associated with daily living.Monitor for changes in the patient's condition such as weight loss/gain, self-care abilities, and indicators of disease progression.Communicate with family members, physicians, case managers, and other prescribed individuals regarding the health of the patients.Work with patients to be done one-on-one in the patients home to provide for a comfortable environment.Collaborate with and supervise Certified Nursing Assistants and Personal Care Attendants.Perform other personal care services as necessary to meet the patient's needs. Minimum QualificationsMinimum 1 year of experience as an RN in a clinical or home health setting.Education, licensing, and certification: Graduate of an accredited college or university, Associate or Baccalaureate School of NursingCurrent State or Compact License as a Registered Nurse.Current CPR certification with AEDWilling to get TB tested. Maintain required insurance.Good interpersonal skillsMust have dependable transportation and be willing to commute to the patient's home.
