General Summary of PositionThis is for a Emergency Department Registered Nurse position at Medstar Union Memorial, Full time nights and PRN 24 hours in 6 weeks.Unit HighlightsWelcome to Medstar Union Memorial, The Heart and Vascular Institute for Medstar Baltimore. Medstar Union Memorial Emergency Department is a 50-bed unit consisting of 34 main ED beds, 12 non-urgent beds, and 4 psychiatric rooms. Union Memorial is a Primary Stroke Center, STEMI receiving, and home of the Curtis National Hand Trauma Center. The Emergency Department takes pride in their "team nursing" approach to providing safe and top-quality care to their patients. Gain great experience caring for patients of all ages, and various medical complaints. Experienced and New to Specialty are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
As a Clinical Nurse you will deliver proficient nursing care to patients and families whose needs range from uncomplicated to highly complex. You will identify current and potential complex problems of specific patient populations and critically analyzes trends and changes in patient status and plans appropriate interventions directly or indirectly through other nurses.

Qualifications
ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing required.
Prior Clinical Nursing Experience preferred.
Active MD RN License or Active Compact State RN and Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers required.
This position has a hiring range of $35.00 - $56.91
