A House Supervisor - RN is a registered nurse who is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a healthcare facility.
This individual is the person in charge when the facility's administration is not on-site.
The House Supervisor - RN serves as a resource for patients, families, and staff and works to ensure that the highest quality of care is provided to patients.
The following are the key responsibilities of a House Supervisor - RN:Clinical Leadership: The House Supervisor - RN is responsible for ensuring that patient care is delivered in a safe, efficient, and effective manner.
This includes overseeing the work of other nurses and healthcare professionals to ensure that they are following best practices and providing the highest quality of care to patients.Operations Management: The House Supervisor - RN is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the facility.
This includes overseeing staffing levels, ensuring that supplies and equipment are available, and ensuring that patient care and safety standards are met.Emergency Response: The House Supervisor - RN is responsible for leading the facility's response to emergencies.
This includes coordinating the response of other healthcare professionals and ensuring that patients receive the appropriate care in a timely manner.Staff Management: The House Supervisor - RN is responsible for supervising and managing the work of other healthcare professionals.
This includes providing mentorship, coaching, and feedback to staff, as well as managing performance and addressing any performance issues.Patient and Family Relations: The House Supervisor - RN is responsible for communicating with patients and their families, addressing any concerns or questions they may have, and ensuring that they receive the highest quality of care.To be considered for a House Supervisor - RN position, candidates must have a current registered nurse (RN) license, a bachelor's degree in nursing, and several years of experience working as a nurse.
Strong leadership, management, and communication skills are also essential for success in this role.This is a not full time but contracted travel position.
