Responsibilities
• Assessing a patient's physical and emotional status, past health history, and health practice• Managing a team of 5 medical/surgical patients per shift• Working within the multidisciplinary medical team to achieve healthcare goals and educational needs• Monitoring patients, managing emergencies, and providing ongoing supportive care• Transitioning patients to the appropriate level of care
Requirements
• BSN required• ADNs candidates must commit to obtaining BSN within three years of hire• One year of experience preferred, acute care or sub-acute care experience preferred• BLS certification required
