The RN will oversee and coordinate nursing care, ensure compliance with healthcare standards, and act as a key resource for residents, families, and staff. This role requires a compassionate and skilled professional dedicated to enhancing the well-being and quality of life of our senior community.*Key Responsibilities:** *Resident Care*: Deliver direct nursing care, including administering medications, managing treatments, and monitoring vital signs.* *Assessment*: Conduct comprehensive assessments of residents' physical, mental, and emotional health, documenting findings and creating care plans.* *Care Planning*: Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with residents, families, and the healthcare team.* *Medication Management*: Oversee the administration of medications, ensuring accuracy, adherence to protocols, and proper documentation.* *Supervision*: Lead and mentor LPNs, nursing assistants, and other support staff, ensuring they adhere to best practices and facility policies.* *Emergency Response*: Provide prompt and effective care in medical emergencies, coordinating with other healthcare professionals as needed.* *Documentation*: Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records, including progress notes, treatment plans, and changes in residents' conditions.* *Communication*: Facilitate clear and effective communication between residents, families, and the healthcare team, addressing concerns and providing education.* *Compliance*: Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations, facility policies, and standards of care.* *Quality Improvement*: Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance resident care.Requirements* *Education*: Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)* *Licensure*: Current and valid RN license in the state of Illinois* *Experience*: Experience in a senior living, long-term care, or similar healthcare setting is preferred, but not required.* *Skills*: Advanced clinical skills, strong leadership and communication abilities, proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems, and the ability to work effectively in a team.* *Attributes*: Compassionate, patient, and committed to providing exceptional care to seniorsJob Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: $27.75 - $38.40 per hourExpected hours: 24 – 36 per weekLicense/Certification:* RN (Required)Work Location: In person
