Day in the Life / Expectations Admit, transfer and discharge residents with documentation regarding care and service provided. Accurately chart in resident's EMR that reflects care administered. Wears proper PPE when necessary. Administer treatment and medications timely; orders and performs diagnostic tests timely. Assumes nursing administrative duties on weekends and holidays as scheduled. Effectively communicate to outgoing RN during shift change. Investigative resident/family complaints and takes appropriate actions to bring it to resolution. Complies with state and Federal Regulations in all matters; participate in facility surveys as scheduled. Works collaboratively with all members of the healthcare team; carries out Physician's orders. Other duties, responsibilities and activities may change or be assigned at any time.
