About the Role: Department Overview Medical Intermediate Care (IMC) is a 20-bed unit with all private rooms. As a medical IMC unit, care is provided for a variety of intermediate care medical patients including but not limited to:
Patients requiring more frequent monitoring than every 4 hours. Patients requiring more frequent monitoring, which may include advanced respiratory support such as BiPap, HiFlo Oxygen, Vapotherm, and trached patients requiring chronic ventilator support. Endocrine Emergencies requiring more frequent monitoring. DKA Gastroenterology requiring more frequent monitoring. Alcohol withdrawal with CIWA score Minimum Job Qualifications Licensure or other certifications: Licensed to practice as an RN in Georgia.
Educational Requirements: Associate's Degree, ADN or Diploma required.
Minimum Experience: At least 1 year of RN experience - Demonstrated competence in RN I performance expectations or meets experience requirements upon hire.
