We are seeking an energetic, patient-centered Registered Nurse for our Women's Medicine Unit at Inova Fairfax Medical Campus!
Our brand new, 30-bed unit is located in the Inova Women's Hospital, the only dedicated women's hospital in Northern Virginia.
On this unit, you will see a variety of women's general medicine patients.
The Women's Medicine Unit is a sister unit to our nationally recognized Women's Surgical Specialty Unit.
Our usual nurse to patient ratio is four or five patients to one RN.
Patients on this unit include: General medicine Sickle Cell patients End of life Telemetry and continuous Pulse Oximetry monitoring Laparoscopic surgery Surgical overflow from the Women's Surgical Specialty Unit Sign-On/Relocation Bonus Information: This position is eligible for a competitive Sign-On Bonus.
Candidates who are relocating 50 miles or further are also eligible for relocation assistance.
Schedule: Full-Time Days, 3x12 hour shifts per week- 7am-7pm

Demonstrates leadership skills in decision making and problem solving. Required Experience: A minimum of 1 year of Registered Nurse clinical experience in the acute care setting.

If RN has an Associate's Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.
Minimum Licensure/ Certification Requirement:
Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Virginia or hold a privilege to practice in the State of Virginia under the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).
