Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse is responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide individualized care to residents.
This includes assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care.
You will work collaboratively with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals to achieve the best possible outcomes.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct care to residents, including medication administration and wound care.
Assess resident needs and develop individualized care plans.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
Delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel as needed.
Document resident care and progress in the resident's medical record.
Requirements:
Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program.
Currently holds an unencumbered RN license in the state where practicing.
Obtains and maintains required department-specific competencies and certifications.
