We want you to apply!Job Summary and QualificationsProvides respiratory care therapies and procedures to all age groups of patients in all areas of the hospital.What you will do in this role:Applies respiratory care modalities and procedures to a group of patients.
Evaluates outcomes of patient care, consults with other disciplines as required and adjusts the plan of care as necessary to ensure optimal service.Ensure appropriate delivery of cardiopulmonary/patient care for a group of patients according to policy and procedure.Participates and facilitates in the case management process and cost containment for patients.Cooperates with other personnel to achieve Department objectives and maintain good employee relations and collaborative integration of the health care team.Demonstrates accountability for direct patient care and evaluation of patient outcomes.Documents all aspects of patient care efficiently and effectively.Demonstrates professional practice and conduct at all times.Demonstrates ability to obtain an ABG sample, analyze the sample and report the results.Demonstrates the ability and knowledge to deliver mechanical ventilation.Demonstrates the ability to initiate and monitor patients receiving non-invasive ventilation.Demonstrates the ability to obtain a quality 12-lead EKG.What qualifications you will need:6 months to 1 year experience preferred by not requiredAdvanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 90 days of employment start dateBasic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start datePALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt must be obtained within 90 days of employment start dateState Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician, or State Registered Respiratory TherapistHCA Houston Healthcare North Cypress, a campus of HCA Houston Healthcare Kingwood, is a 165+ bed, general acute care hospital, founded in 2006 by local physicians who wanted to create a sophisticated, patient-friendly healthcare environment for their community.
