Registered Sonographer, Full-Time Nights

Job Summary: We are seeking a dependable and cooperative Registered Sonographer to provide safe, age-appropriate care to patients during night shifts.
The ideal candidate will have the knowledge and ability to perform a wide variety of technical procedures with independent judgment and initiative, while ensuring patient privacy and comfort.
Responsibilities include setting up equipment, positioning patients, and performing ultrasound exams as per department protocols.
This is a full-time position working 36 hours over three nights.

Core Responsibilities and Essential Functions: Verify and obtain complete clinical history Review ultrasound images and respond to emergency situations Explain procedures to patients and address their concerns Ensure equipment is fully operational and maintain quality control Restock supplies and maintain department cleanliness Education and Communication: Graduate of an accredited Sonography Program Excellent communication skills and ability to explain procedures to patients Required Minimum Education: Graduate of an accredited Sonography Program
Required Minimum License(s) and Certification(s): Registered Medical Sonographer ARRT Sonography Basic Life Support certification Required Minimum Experience: Successful completion of a Sonography Training Program and minimum 1 year clinical experience (preferred)
Required Minimum Skills: Excellent communication skills, ability to function independently and under pressure, and provide excellent customer service
