Registration Intake Spec

The Registration Receptionist obtains pre-registration information on each patient and accurately enters the information into the system prior to the date of surgery.On the date of surgery he/she receives each patient and family members in the lobby, escorts them to the peri-anesthesia area and confirms accurate and complete demographic and insurance information and obtains the required consents.
Performs other clerical responsibilities of the Unit and other duties as assigned.



Position Qualifications Education:

Graduate of an accredited High School or Equivalency [Required] Certifications/Experience:Computer and Typing Skills [Required] Phone and Communication Skills [Required]
