We are hiring remote workers for this role in the San Francisco Bay Area, Los Angeles, or NYC areas. At this time, only candidates in these locations will be considered.
What You'll Do Help surface, scope, and drive legal work streams and create processes related to ensuring compliance with domestic and international laws. Work cross-functionally to develop and implement privacy-by-design principles. Identify applicable laws and regulations, assess compliance vulnerability and risk, provide actionable advice, and develop and implement action plans to mitigate potential risks. Assist in the review and assessment of new products, features, and uses of data to assess compliance with laws, regulations, and industry best practices. Assist with maintaining and updating consumer notices, terms of service, and privacy policies. Monitor and anticipate developments in the regulatory landscape. Create and advise on policies, processes, systems, and internal controls necessary to ensure compliance with regulatory and legal requirements related to products and data, employment matters, and corporate structure. For this position, the base pay ranges across Calm's pay tiers is as follows:
$116,978 - $242,600 The base pay range represents the low and high end of Calm's salary range for this position. Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. Exact salary will ultimately depend on multiple factors, which include the successful candidate's geographic location, skills, experience, and other qualifications.
