Position Summary As part of a rapidly growing company, focused on building world class operations and corporate culture, support the Compliance and Legal department in regulatory, compliance and operational matters. Responsible for coordinating numerous learning management systems, databases and tracking systems. Liaison to departmental business teams. ResponsibilitiesAssist the Head of Compliance/Deputy General Counsel on company regulatory, compliance and operational mattersManage Project with external vendors and HR to configure and track employee trainings on compliance learning programsResponsible for Regulatory Tracker and related matter management system - uploading matters, key documents and managing docketing systemResearch, track and draft regulatory responses and oversee audits and inquiriesResearch and develop regulatory compliance checklists and workflows for licensing, surplus lines, fee agreements, and other compliance mattersDevelop Report templates and track KPIs regarding regulatory incidencesDirect liaison to business units for general legal support and regulatory adviceDevelopment and maintenance of record retention program and associated trainingPerform necessary research for legal matters and initiativesCoordinate with external legal counsel as requiredOther administrative support functions and occasional travel as necessary Qualifications1-4 years experience as an Attorney or Senior ParalegalRegulatory/Insurance ExperiencePrior experience providing in house legal support PreferredParalegal certification or equivalent experience RequiredPossess a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) in addition to IronClad, RegEd, or LRN/CatalystCompliance Learning & Development Programs DocuSignCMS and Record Retention Database configuration a plusMust be able to work well with others and build effective team relationshipsSelf-motivated with a high sense of professional ethics and integrityWorking knowledge of contracts, transactional, and general corporate and business areasMust have good research skillsExcellent communication skills, both oral and writtenParalegal Undergraduate Program Preferred Physical Demands Office work involves working at a desk most of the time, using a stand-up/sit-down adjustable desk.
