Job Description:
The Role:
The Manager is responsible Regulatory Product Manager for assisting with bringing the company's products into new markets, manage new and existing products, spearheading global cosmetic manufacturing and ensuring that our products meet high standards of quality and performance.
What you'll do:
Primary Responsibilities:
* Coordinate with cross-functional teams including R&D, quality, regulatory and supply chain to align commercial efforts in all phases of ideation and commercialization for cosmetics, OTC, and monographed products.
* Manage the support of new products, lifecycle management of existing products, support in optimizing existing formulations and support in the CMO readiness plan.
* Involvement with CMOs during new product development and management of technical transfers for identification and optimization of critical operations to ensure smooth operational process.
* Ensure proper GMP, FDA, and regulatory identification is followed during manufacturing and filling through to commercialization.
* Support the cosmetic testing requirements analytical, microbial, stability (ex.
ICH, FDA, USP).
* Assist regulatory team and cross functional partners with strategy execution.
* Experience with document control systems: drafting and maintaining revision control on procedures and ensure all products comply with industry regulations and standards.
* Oversee existing and new product development timelines in preparation of regulatory documentation for cosmetics and/or OTC products including labeling/artwork, registrations and any documentation submission support as it relates to the maintenance of existing licenses and registrations.
* Manage the master product catalog to maintain up to date status and/or revisions of global registrations and licenses.
* Manage meetings to facilitate and support the tech transfer process.
* Additional duties as assigned.
What you need to know:
Experience/Skills/Education:
Required:
* 6 - 10 years of experience in the cosmetic and/or pharmaceutical industry, with knowledge in both domestic and international regulation requirements
* Bachelor's degree; preferably in a scientific discipline (Chemistry) or equivalent experience in the skincare cosmetic and OTC industry
* Must have cosmetic or OTC manufacturing experience
* Requires a high level of interdisciplinary knowledge in GLP, GMP, Regulatory requirements, apart from the core scientific knowledge
* Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex problems related to product formulation and development
* Ability to both understand and write technical documentation
* Strong written, oral, organization, and interpersonal skills to interface with internal departments and regulatory agencies
* Proven success working in ambiguity, fostering collaborations in a fast-paced environment
* Requires a strong attention to detail, analytical and have strong problem-solving skills
* Assures adherence to GMPs, FDA and MOCRA requirements
Desired:
* Process engineering knowledge is a plus
* Skin care (Dermatology) manufacturing experience required
* Validation experience is a plus
* Strong project management skills
(Base Salary Pay Range: $105,000 -$132,000)
An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs.
The range listed is just one component of BeautyHealth's total rewards package for our employees.
