Regulatory Specialist USDA Food Specialist
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Regulatory Specialist to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in regulatory compliance within the food industry, specifically with expertise in submitting label approvals to the USDA using the LPDS, familiarity with USDA plants, and the ability to conduct thorough record reviews.
This role is crucial in ensuring our company complies with all applicable regulatory standards and guidelines.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare and submit label approvals to the USDA, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Maintain knowledge of USDA regulations and guidelines, implementing necessary updates and changes as required. Collaborate with cross-functional R&D and commercialization teams to make necessary changes on the labels. Perform comprehensive record reviews to verify compliance with regulatory documentation requirements. Prepare and maintain regulatory documentation, reports, and submissions accurately and timely. Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory developments, and best practices. Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of experience in regulatory affairs within the food industry, with a focus on USDA regulations. Proven track record of successfully submitting label approvals to the USDA. Experience conducting inspections or audits in USDA-regulated facilities. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. $22.00- $30.00 per hour DOE
