We are looking for a Regulatory Specialist to join our team and help us maintain our high standards of quality and food safety. As a Regulatory Specialist, you will be responsible for providing regulatory support to internal and external customers to ensure Ditsch is compliant with all legal and customer requirements. In addition, you will provide guidance to our product development teams managing the specification and label development.
Responsibilities: Regulatory and Customer Support: Stay up-to-date on regulatory code changes and understand the implications to the business related to these changes.Advise internal partners regarding regulatory compliance for the target market.Identify regulatory challenges relevant to commercial opportunities, and collaborate cross-functionally to solve them.Develop and manage product certifications: Kosher, Halal, Non-GMO.Complete and deliver documentation to support external customer requirements.Obtain thorough knowledge of customer requirements and identify issues relevant to new business opportunities.Processes and Systems Management: Manage supplier and ingredient approval process.Identify opportunities, implement, and maximize the capabilities of the systems for efficiencies with current processes.Own the product label and specification development process.Maintain and manage product and process change request documentation.Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Biological, or other science or engineering related field.3+ years of relevant experience in a regulatory role in the food industry.Working knowledge of industry and regulatory requirements.MS Office skills (spreadsheet and word processing).Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Detail-oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to lead and implement change.Self-starter who can work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.If you are passionate about quality and regulatory and want to join a dynamic team, we encourage you to apply for this position. Compensation Range: $75,000 - $120,000
This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on relevant experience and other job-related qualifications/skills. The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
