On Call - Various Shifts

What you bring to SBHG (qualifications):
Associate's degree in general studies plus 6-years direct service experience in a Mental Health field (QMHP) OR
Bachelor's degree in Mental Health-related discipline plus 4 years direct service experience in Mental Health field (QMHP); or
Master's degree in Mental Health-related discipline plus 2 years direct service experience in a Mental Health field (QMHP);
0-4 years experience in a healthcare setting with work experience with seriously emotionally disturbed children or adults (preferred)
Valid California Driver's License (required)
Valid California Class "B" Driver's License (preferred)
How you will make a difference (job overview):
The Rehabilitation Specialist provides direct and indirect services to adolescents under the supervision of the Director of Group Services, Coordinator or designee. Responsibilities include performing rehabilitation assessments, developing individualized therapeutic schedules, leading therapeutic groups, coordinating daily unit activities, and participating in Treatment Team meetings.
Division/Program Overview:
A comprehensive mental health inpatient residential facility for adolescents
Serving up to 60 adolescents (ranging from ages 12-17) statewide
Intensive residential services dedicated to serving clients with serious mental health problems with the highest dignity and quality of services since 1988
Programs: Psychiatric Health Facility, Community Treatment Facility and Non-Public High School – 24/7 locked facility
Multidisciplinary Mental Health Services, Therapeutic Behavioral Health Services, and Intensive Day Treatment Program
