Rehabilitation Therapist - Inpatient

$15,000 SIGN ON BONUS! POSITION SUMMARY: Provides treatment to patients by evaluating function, selecting appropriate treatments, and participating in interdisciplinary approaches for in servicing and community education.
Responsible for cross-site coverage.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program Current state license in Physical Therapy COMPETENCIES: Strong English communication skills Proficient in Windows based programs Access to reliable transportation Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Evaluates patients based on departmental standard Conducts and modifies evaluations based on patient's symptoms and medical status Treats patients with appropriate therapeutic exercises, physical agents, and manual techniques Educates patients/families in home exercise programs Documents in accordance with guidelines Supervises at least one affiliated student per year Attends continuing education courses Participates in departmental in-services and community educations
