One of our clients is seeking a Reinsurance Business Analyst with over 5 years of hands-on experience in any reinsurance systems focuses on understanding and improving the processes and systems used by the client to manage their reinsurance operations in a production environment.
This role involves analyzing business needs, gathering requirements, and collaborating with stakeholders to design and implement solutions that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of reinsurance activities.
Key responsibilities include:
Requirement Gathering: Working with stakeholders, including underwriters, actuaries, and IT teams, to gather and document business requirements for reinsurance systems. Process Analysis and Improvement: Analyzing existing reinsurance processes and identifying areas for improvement, such as automation opportunities, workflow optimization, or data accuracy enhancements. Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyzing data related to reinsurance contracts, claims, and risk management.
Developing and generating reports that provide insights into business performance and risk exposure. Stakeholder Communication: Acting as a liaison between business users and technical teams, ensuring clear communication and understanding of project goals, requirements, and expectations. Compliance and Regulatory Understanding: Ensuring that reinsurance systems and processes comply with relevant regulations and standards, and that they can adapt to changes in the regulatory environment. Documentation: Creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation for reinsurance processes, systems, and procedures. Continuous Improvement: Continuously seeking ways to improve the reinsurance systems and processes, staying updated with industry trends, and incorporating new technologies and methodologies. This candidate needs strong analytical skills, an understanding of the insurance and reinsurance industries, and the ability to work with both business and technical teams.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in business, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years' experience in the reinsurance industry Hands on experience in any reinsurance application Proficiency in using business analysis tools and methodologies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks. Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance in the reinsurance industry.
