Relations Manager

Job summary
The Industry Relations Manager will develop and maintain relationships with manufacturing companies.They will prioritize organizing manufacturing work experience opportunities and supporting the Industry Advisory Committee.The position requires strong communication skills and experience in the manufacturing industry.

Responsibilities
• Engage and develop relationships with manufacturing companies to support MR's mission and program activities.• Understand company needs and culture to inform program activity design and job placement strategies.• Stay current on manufacturing industry trends and communicate them to staff and partners.• Organize and supervise work experiences for program participants and provide career coaching.• Capture data related to provided services and employer participation.• Facilitate Industry Advisory meetings and seek to increase manufacturer participation.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree preferred.• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in the manufacturing industry.• Experience in staffing, training coordination, business development, or sales preferred.• Excellent literacy and communication skills.• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and web applications.• Ability to pass background checks and comply with Mandated Report laws.• COVID-19 vaccinated and willingness to update vaccinations.• Attention to detail in organizing meetings and activities.• Positive, proactive attitude and problem-solving skills.• Must have a car.
