Release and Incident Management Analyst

Key Role:
Plan, communicate, and coordinate complex releases that comprise of cross-functional teams and a multitude of interrelated and independent applications or infrastructure changes. Maintain up to date and relevant playbooks and documentation in support of the release. Coordinate resources and schedules for all release activities and maintenance weekends. Serve as an escalation point to manage the timely resolution of all critical and complex problems across the various platforms in all environments, including prompt and detailed communication to stakeholders while managing expectations with senior management. Support the incident management process and serve as incident manager from inception to closure. Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical staff and facilitate communication and testing across all IT Service areas, including Application teams, Help Desk, Infrastructure, Network, and Security.
Basic Qualifications:
Experience with supporting software or infrastructure releases and agile software development life cycles

Experience in leading and partnering with various levels of the organization to define and execute cross-functional technical initiatives and service delivery processes

Experience with facilitating meetings and working in a client-facing role

Ability to work under pressure and respond to incidents and requests in a fast-paced environment

Ability to work flexible hours on nights and weekends

Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks with minimal supervision

Ability to create and foster one-on-one relationships with key stakeholders

Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements

Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:
Experience with CMMI, ITIL, or other IT processes

Experience as a technical lead or with software development

Experience with incident or release management, IT coordination, and communications

Experience with managing and coordinating the activities of multiple project teams

Ability to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or similar field preferred; Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or similar field a plus

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $54,000.00 to $123,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
