100% onsite. Job Description
This position is part of the maintenance group.  The focus of this position will be to manage technical and reliability functions using data-based decisions with the intent of improved safety, increased production, reduced waste, and effective spending. Work within maintenance and closely with the production groups to determine projects and improvements that increase value to the company.  In addition, proper prioritization and management of the project to maximize value. Assist with all phases of equipment repair including but not limited to troubleshooting, diagnosing, recommendations, execution, and follow up. Manage predictive and preventive programs to improve Key Performance Indicators (KPI) Lead and facilitate Root Cause Failure Analysis sessions (RCFA) to prevent reoccurring failures. Determine and develop optimal maintenance practices, policies, and procedures. Specify and standardize all types of rotating and stationary process equipment. Develop or modify preventative maintenance (PM) and predictive maintenance (PD) within the CMMS system. Generate timely regular reports to show results and benefits of projects. Directing the workforce, as needed (both via the phone and in the plant) during major equipment rebuilds. Serve as a Precision maintenance resource for trades. Fills in for first line supervisor when required. Qualifications BS degree in Mechanical Engineering Five (5) years' experience in an industrial environment; with at least two (2) years paper/pulp experience Experience/certifications with PdM technologies: Vibration Analysis, Lubrication, Infrared Ability to handle deadlines, variable workloads, and being on call, as required. Ability to work both independently and as a team member. SAP PM experience strongly preferred. #M1
