Teck Alaska Incorporated, Red Dog Operations, one of the world's largest producers of zinc concentrate, is recruiting for a Reliability Engineer, Maintenance
Rotation schedule will be 2 weeks on-site with 2 weeks off-site
Responsibilities:
• Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures
• Responsible for developing, documenting, and improving asset strategies to support equipment availability and effective asset utilization
• Responsible for developing, documenting, and improving predictive maintenance programs using predictive failure techniques such as vibration analysis, thermographic imaging, ultrasound (contact & airborne), motion amplification
• Supervise and provide direction to Reliability Technicians, ensuring accurate data collection, analysis, and management
• Coordinate training and development for Reliability Technicians to enhance their skills and knowledge
• Review and validate condition monitoring reports and recommend necessary actions based on findings
• Manage the defect elimination program through analysis of production loss data, and preparation of summaries for review in a monthly defect elimination meeting
• Prepare and present equipment failure/root cause analysis reports and determine/evaluate corrective action items and the impact of corrective action items to the preventive maintenance programs
• Define and install performance metrics that will promote long-term continuous improvement programs consistent with the site objectives
• Conduct criticality analysis on equipment and systems
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives as defined by the Team Lead
• Performs other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field)
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in maintenance reliability engineering or a related field
• Certification in maintenance reliability (e.g., CMRP) is a plus
• Formal training or experience with Preventive and Predictive Maintenance programs
