Grace is seeking a Reliability Engineer for our Curtis Bay Works, MD facility. This position is part of the Maintenance/Reliability Team and reports to the Lead Reliability Engineer. This position is accountable for the continuous improvement of asset availability and lifecycle costs.
ResponsibilitiesConducts Critical Equipment AnalysisConducts Equipment Criticality AssessmentsManages critical equipment listsCreates asset care plans for critical assetsTracks and analyzes reliability data on critical equipmentAnalyze bad actors and develop improvement plans through data-driven methodologiesDevelop Maintenance Strategies by equipment typesSupports and facilitates RCA'sUpdates Engineering Drawings and Documents to reflect field conditionsSupports area Maintenance EngineersIdentifies and scopes maintenance/reliability improvement projectsAssists with emergencies, unplanned problems, and repairsSupports Purchasing/Goods Receipts/New Vendors/RequisitionsParticipates in safety programs and initiativesParticipates in Process Hazard Analysis (PHAs) including PSSRs, and Management of Change (MOCs)Physical Requirements and EnvironmentMust be willing to wear PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) including but not limited to hard hat, protective eyewear, steel-toed boots, hearing protection, Level A suit, full face respiratorMust be able to stand, walk, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and climb stairs and ladders over 100 ft.Ability to work in a high hazard environment, including adverse weather conditions, elevated spaces, confined spaces, extreme temperatures, and noisy surroundings.Required QualificationsBS in Engineering discipline (ME highly preferred)Industrial manufacturing experience in processes such as Chemical, Paper, Metals, Refinery, Pharmaceutical5+ years in maintenance reliability experienceDemonstrated use of RCCA and FMEA analysisPreferred QualificationsExperience using CMMS maintenance system, SAP is a plusProactive problem-solving approach focused on actionAbility to organize and prioritizeComputer proficiency with Microsoft Office and other maintenance scheduling toolsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills - work with multiple departments to solve problemsKnowledge of equipment PdM practices.BenefitsLife Insurance and DisabilityGrace Wellness ProgramFlexible WorkplaceRetirement Plans401(k) Company Match – Dollar to dollar up to the first 6%Paid Vacation and HolidaysTuition ReimbursementCompany Donation Match ProgramU.S. Employee Benefits Summary (grace.com)Grace is not accepting unsolicited assistance from search firms for this employment opportunity.
