SUPERVISOR:
Director or designee.
SUMMARY:
This employee provides support to the Food and Nutrition Services warehouse operation on a as needed basis.
Responsibilities include delivering bakery, produce and warehouse products to the schools as well as loading, unloading and storing products at the warehouse.
Develops and promotes good community relations among various community and school clientele.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.
May pull product and load trucks with items ordered by the food and nutrition service managers.
2.
May pull product and bakery products for delivery to the schools.
3.
May drive routes and deliver product to each kitchen.
4.
Delivers food service mail to the kitchens; returns mail and bank deposits from the kitchens to the Student Nutrition Center.
Responsible for collection/transport of kitchen revenue deposits.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
1.
High School or equivalent.
2.
Ability to safely drive food service vans and trucks.
3.
Adheres to food service safety and sanitation rules.
4.
Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment.
5.
Customer Service Skills.
6.
Valid Colorado Driver's License.
7.
Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with air brake add-on preferred.
8.
Must meet insurability requirements of the Colorado School District Self Insurance Pool.
9.
Good driving record - must provide copy of driving record to district.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATIONS:
All certifications, licenses, and registrations must be valid and unexpired.
1.
1-2 Years Previous Warehouse Experience Preferred.
PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:
1.
Frequent lifting of 50 pounds.
2.
Occasional lifting of 70-90 pounds.
