Remote Accounts Payable

Job Description:

Bed Bath & Beyond is seeking a Remote Accounts Payable Associate to join our team based in Indianapolis, Indiana. This full-time position is ideal for a candidate with at least 3 years of experience in accounts payable. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the accounts payable process remotely.

Responsibilities:- Process invoices, expense reports, and payment requests in a timely and accurate manner- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies- Communicate with vendors regarding payment status and inquiries- Assist with month-end closing procedures- Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all payable transactions- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve payment issues and ensure compliance with company policies- Perform other ad-hoc tasks and projects as assigned

Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field- 3+ years of experience in accounts payable- Energetic and independent personality traits- Creativity and persuasion as soft skills- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
