Job Description:We are seeking a remote Accounts Receivable professional to join our team at Fluor in Phoenix, Arizona. This part-time position is ideal for entry-level candidates with at least 1 year of experience in accounts receivable or related fields. The successful candidate will be adaptable, resilient, and have excellent attention to detail and people management skills.
Responsibilities:- Process customer invoices and payments accurately and in a timely manner- Reconcile accounts receivable on a regular basis- Follow up on outstanding invoices and resolve any billing discrepancies- Assist with collections efforts when necessary- Maintain and update customer records and billing information- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders regarding billing inquiries- Assist with month-end close processes related to accounts receivable- Provide support to the accounting team as needed
Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred- 1+ years of experience in accounts receivable or similar role- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills- Strong interpersonal and communication skills- Ability to work independently and as part of a team- Experience with accounting software is a plus
